The first NGC fire pump gearboxes succeeded in the sea trial

Recently, the vessel “Ocean oil 225”, equipped with NGC fire pump gearboxes was successful in the sea trial. These fire pump gearboxes, featured with stable operation, high efficiency and low energy consumption, are the first to be produced by Nanjing High Accurate Marine Equipment Co., Ltd (“NGC”). The comprehensive performance of this type of gearbox reaches the international advanced level.

“Ocean oil 225” owned by COES limited (Tianjin), is a multiple-purpose work boat with the functions of salvation, fire fighting and environment protection, etc. The inside and outside fire fighting systems are supplied by NGC Marine Company and Nanjing Shun Shing Alco Fire Fighting Equipment Manufacture Limited together. NGC Marine is responsible for the speed-up gearboxes of the fire pump. During the sea trial, the speed-up gearboxes ran stably, every working parameter can meet the designing requirement and accuately implement the control instruction issued by the bridge .
