NGC Youth Volunteer service In Action

Year 2012 was an important year when the Party Central Committee requested to strengthen the construction of material, political and spiritual civilization. The civilization office of party central committee publicize 鈥淣ational Civilization Unit Assessment System (Trial)鈥�, which used 13 large projects and 50 detailed construction duties as the standard and in this system, it was clearly stated the accurate guidance and specific arrangement. NGC, as an important civilization unit in Nanjing, carried out colorful civilized activities to respond to the call.

On 2ed, September, NGC youth volunteers gave up their break time to serve in Yuhuatai Martyrs' Cemetery for 3 days. The theme of activity was 鈥淢illion people relay of civilized unit鈥�. The activity was initiated by Nanjing Civilization Office, and participated by the civilized units in the city. Service locations included park, square, main/secondary road, bus station, street and other corners; the service contents included cleaning, transportation guide, and persuasion civilization and so on. During 3-day service, 8 volunteers of NGC finished the service job under the high temperature. It was a good demonstration of quality of a civilized unit, and also won honor for NGC鈥檚 civilization construction.

In the atmosphere of civilization construction, NGC brought this job into the routine work and duty and built up the special team to convey the spirit of party central committee to the grass root and general public to form a solid mass basis. Under the leading of group management, we would continuously develop the volunteer team and enrich the connotation of the activities and let the volunteers help others and serve the society and enterprise. In a word, make a harmonious development between the enterprise expansion and civilization construction.
