Strategic Cooperation Setting up between Siemens and NGC (China Transmission)-jointly supply high quality marine propulsion equipment

On 20th August, 2012, Siemens AG and Nanjing High Accurate Marine Equipment Co., Ltd (“NGC Marine” for short) signed the Agreement in Nanjing for setting up strategic partnership. The two companies will jointly supply high quality marine reduction gears to the market and will carry out further technical cooperation in this field. This cooperation will prompt Siemens leading technology to a wider extent in China’s marine transmission market and will strengthen NGC Marine’s R&D capacity, manufacturing technology and engineering techniques on marine gearbox. Mr. Theo Maas, CEO of Mechanical Drives of Drive Technology Division in Industry Sector of Siemens AG, said: “The cooperation between Siemens and NGC is cooperation between two strong partners, combing the advantages of Siemens in Europe and America and advantages of NGC in Asia will definitely open a door for both partners to mutual benefits.”
