NGC Maine Attended the MARINTEC CHINA 2013
The 17th Marintec China was held in Shanghai New International Expo Center from December 3 to 6, 2013, attracting over 1700 enterprises from 34 countries from around the world.
As an important event of international maritime of this year, Marintec China has become the largest and most influential maritime trade show in Asia. The same as before, the national and regional pavilions were the major part of the fair. In this fair, there were 16 pavilions from Denmark, Germany, Korea, America, UK, and China, etc.
Nanjing High Accurate Marine Equipment Co., Ltd., as the largest marine propulsion system supplier in China, leading by the general manager Mr. Chen Yongdao, attended the show, which attracted many visitors to stop by.
In this fair, Nanjing High Accurate Marine Equipment Co., Ltd. exhibited its major products in W3 pavilion, which was focused on marine power, to the worldwide customers, including controllable pitch propeller propulsion system, tunnel thruster, azimuth thruster, skewed high speed propeller, jack-up gearbox and so on.
It鈥檚 worth mentioning that based on NGC鈥檚 40 years of gear design and producing experiences, and the new developed technologies in maritime work region in recent years, the platform elevator type gearbox of the Company became a light spot in the fair, which aroused great interests of visitors. Some visitors came all the way to the production site of the Company in Nanjing for a visit after the negotiation on the show, and have reached preliminary intentions on the product cooperation. So far, Nanjing High Accurate Marine Company can provide the platform elevator type gearbox with a single rated carrying capacity of 80MT锝�450MT, and can provide ABS and CCS certificates. In January, 2013, the Company became the first enterprise in the world that has passed the certification of ABS ocean drilling platform new standard pattern.
During the show, the Company also reached an agreement with some foreign customers on the supply of the azimuth thruster system and side thruster for three exported ships, and signed the supply contract afterwards. This was another big order of export business after the orders of three ships signed with some Middle East project in July, seven ships signed with an Indian shipyard in September and two ships signed with Malaysia client in October.
In recent years, the global shipbuilding industry has faced tremendous challenge.
