The marine company got new achievement
Recently, the experts from Jiangsu Economic and Information Committee started to review the reported companies for the year of 2013, according to the Organization Methods of Jiangsu Industrial Design Center, the Industrial Design Demonstration Park and Demonstration Enterprises, as well as the Notice of Carrying out the Identity Work of Jiangsu Industrial Design Center and the Industrial Design Demonstration Park. The industrial design center of Nanjing High Accurate Marine Equipment Co., Ltd. has passed the review and site investigation and become the provincial industrial design center.
Industry Design Center of NGC Marine was established more than 6 years ago. Having been titled as one of the provincial industrial design center, it proved that the design center has the completed design research and experiment conditions and fundamental equipments, and is able to utilize PRO-E, CFD, finite element analysis, and knowledge of engineering, esthetics, psychology and economics to make integrated optimization for marine product functions, structures, form and package of its marine products.
Since the very beginning of the design center, it has been headed by the general manager following the idea of 鈥渢echniques are from around the world and services facing the world鈥�, they actively introduce talents at home and abroad and set up several research departments focusing power system, marine gearbox, hydraulic and electric control, manufacturing technology and process control. So far there are 88 designers in all in the design center, among whom 19 are postgraduates and 69 are undergraduates, 17 are senior engineers, which meets the talent requirements of the national industry design center: the occupation ratio with bachelor鈥檚 degree or above, or with technician (senior technician) of qualified personnel, or with senior professional and technical positions and personnel is not less than 80%.
The design center aims at developing the world first class marine propulsion system and transmission equipments. It sticks to the market mechanism and technology progress as the major power source of continuous innovation, and constantly improving the design innovation system and guarantee system, with annual investing in research and development over 5% of its yearly sales revenue. Due to the high investment in research and development, the design center has been keeping the leading position in the market and achieved the outstanding results. It has developed over 10 new products, among which 6 products have passed the provincial identification of new product and reached international advanced position and domestic leading level. Many municipal, provincial, and national prizes were awarded, including CPP and azimuth thruster achieved the Jiangsu Province Excellent New Product Prize, the NRP250 fixed pitch rudder propeller was identified as the first set of major equipment in Jiangsu province. So far, it has obtained 69 patents, of which 15 are invention patents, 3 are patent for appearance, and 51 are patents for utility models.
Due to continuous innovation of the industrial design center, Nanjing High Accurate Marine Equipment Co., Ltd. has developed the series of marine products with proprietary intellectual property rights including CPP, azimuth thruster, tunnel thruster, ocean platform jack-up gearboxes and so on, and become the high-tech enterprise of Jiangsu province, and also is the only manufacturer in China that can provide the whole set of propulsion and transmission equipments for both domestic and exportation market. It can provide customer-made design for different types of vessels according to different demands, so as to realize high efficiency and low energy consumption of products. Its marine products have been widely used in special boats like coastguard service vessels, combat vessels, auxiliary vessels, offshore vessels, dredgers, offshore platforms, and so on, of which many of them have been exported to abroad with products quality reaching European level, and has won high recognition from customers and partners. Even in the difficult market condition in 2013, the new orders are more than doubled than 2012, which has caused the breakthrough of monopoly of such products by foreign companies.
